Arm Path Drill
Instructions
• 1 player on flat ground, throwing to a partner or a screen
• Player throws from the stretch position with coach directly behind them
• Focus of the drill is to get the arm moving straight back as opposed to wrapping behind the body
• As the player takes the ball back to start the delivery, coach needs to see knuckles of the pitching come directly to them.
• Player may take 5 dry reps, pausing as they show knuckles to the coach
• Each player should complete 10 reps making the throw before switching
